Deborah Morrish

Deborah Morrish is a career adjudicator with over 35 years of experience. She served as vice chair of the Ontario Social Assistance Review Board, assistant deputy chair of the immigration and refugee board, and consultant to the UNHCR in South Africa. In addition to her public service, Deborah has extensive experience working with refugees and developing ongoing adjudicative strategic plans. Aside from her experience as an executive, she is passionate about giving back to the community and is a frequent speaker on social issues.

Deborah Morrish is a Canadian lawyer and adjudicator. She holds a Master’s degree in law and is the only daughter of a former Scarborough property development controller who made millions through property development. Her education includes several degrees and certificates. She holds a Management for Executives Certificate from the Canada School of Public Service and a Diploma in French from the Sorbonne in Paris. She is certified in alternative dispute resolution, and she also holds the Alternative Dispute Resolution Certification Parts I & II.

While Deborah is an internationally recognized adjudicator, she also holds a Masters in law. She holds a Certificate in Management for Executives from the Canada School of Public Service, and a Diploma in French from the Sorbonne in Paris. In addition, she holds a certification in Alternative Dispute Resolution Parts 1 and 2 from the University of Toronto. Moreover, Deborah Morrish has a great knowledge of the law.

As a trained humanitarian consultant, Ms. Morrish is also an internationally recognized adjudicator. She is a proud mother and proponent of lifelong learning.
